Zimbabwe Partnership
Our sister church in Zimbabwe is the Harare Church of the United Church of Christ, which is comprised of the Mbare Church and the Mabvuku Preaching Point. The candle on the altar affirms our relationship.
UKAMA NEWS…
We have heard from our sister church in Zimbabwe that they have received the electronic photograph we took of the congregation on December 13, 2009. They were delighted and send many blessings to us.
Ukama Update
NHUCC Conference Minister Gary Schulte recently received a letter of thanks from Reverend E. M. Matuvhunye, President of the Zimbabwe Northern UCC Conference. A portion of that letter is below:
“May I take this opportunity on behalf of the UCCZ and on my own behalf to thank all Churches and individuals for the Hunger Relief Appeal. Indeed I am very grateful to you and further request you to continue to do so, since hunger will be with us until April next year.
Meanwhile may I share with you that we have not been able to distribute food to our people as yet due to unstable situation. As soon as the situation is conducive we will carry out the exercise
