Community Outreach Ministries
Serving is who we are.
We are a servant church of the servant Christ.
Our program of outreach is not just things we do, it is who we are.

Our Outreach Includes:Participation in the Emergency Assistance Network, a gathering of the resources of Concord faith communities for meeting the needs of families in financial crisis.
Participation in a program known as "Interfaith Caregivers,” operated by Concord’s Friends Program, which provides personal support for older people who want to continue to live independently. |

The Concord Female Charitable Society
Mrs. Elizabeth McFarland, wife of Pastor Asa McFarland, of The First Congregational Church, founded this organization in 1812 for the purpose “of relieving the poor and suffering among us.”
This society has grown through the years but continues to work as a “quiet, friendly, local benevolence.” We invite you to become new members (women) or contributors (men.) The annual fee is $1.00 or you may purchase life membership for $10.00.

Harare Church of the United Church of Christ
Our sister church in Zimbabwe is the Harare Church of the United Church of Christ, which is comprised of the Mbare Church and the Mabvuku Preaching Point. We light a special candle on our altar each Sunday during worship. The candle on the altar affirms our relationship.
